RCMC is one of the Oldest and leading clubs (out of 127 Clubs) in the Rotary Dist 3232,Chartered in 1982, presenty with 95 mlembers, having a profile varying from Industrialists, Businessmen, Entrepreneurs, Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Chartered Accountants, Lawyers, Consultants etc …. We are honored by having one of our member Rtn. SvRm Ramanathan elected as the District Governor from Dist.3232 and also Rtn. P.T. Prabhakar was elected as Rotary International Director.
RCMC organises Speaker meetings every Monday @ 7.00 PM IST ( Physical +Virtual), for our Rotary Families. The Speakers are from various parts of the World and fields, who exchange and enrich our knowledge.
RCMC Prestigious Club Projects :
ROTARY CENTRAL MARGARET SIDNEY HOSPITAL : Nanganallur, Chennai with 20 beds and most of the specialties. It is self-sustaining and serves the needy at very affordable costs. Medicines are sold 10% cheaper than other pharmacies. This project has been in service since 1983. We conduct health camps free of cost, at places in and around Chennai. ROTARY CENTRAL TTK VHS BLOOD BANK : Situated in VHS campus Adyar, Chennai. We donate blood free to all needy patients and run a free Thalassemia centre for affected children. The blood bank has been operational since 1996. Experience - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wXJy_kmnyU
ROTARY CENTRAL VIVEKANANDA VIDYALAYA: Situated in Sivanvoil Village 40 kms from Chennai. Educating 900 students under Indian CBSE curriculum. This school was started in 2007, in an economically backward area in association with Vivekananda Educational Society.
ROTARY CENTRAL HAPPY SCHOOL PROJECT: Every year few Government Schools are renovated in fields of “Hygienic Toilets, Wash-In sanitation, Drinking water..”
